A chunk of my life has been dedicated to music, so it is without question that I am still involved with it. The Little Bits is my current project, and although we do not often do shows, I cherish the few we get to do. The set of photos below are from a little concert co-produced by The Little Bits along with our good friend, Esperanza Catubig of Theatre Residencies, Inc. The event was held at Mudrakers Cafe in Berkeley, a corner coffeeshop with a nice room in the back for community-style events such as this. The event flyer was also put together by me.

Portraits: Family and Lifestyle
Location: Stow Lake in San Francisco, CA

We met with the L family at Stow Lake for some gorgeous winter afternoon photos. The light out here is always so very dreamy, and makes our job that much easier.

Egan led this mini session and I assisted with hauling gear -- best part! -- as we walked to each spot.

I must say that these kids are naturals at smiling. We didn't even have to try to get them to give us their best.

A good party is a mix of good food, good friends and inspiration. This party was inspired by the 80s, because Bern -- who turned 40 -- wanted to mark her milestone birthday with the era she identified the best with. Well, the 80s, afterall, was a huge decade of color, hair, pop music. Either it was loved or hated, and Bern loved. We love how the colors came out from these photos. The props really brought out the 80s. Neon all day!

Portraits: Casting Headshots
Location: Botanical Gardens in San Francisco, CA

Golden Gate Park is always a great choice for photographing, whether it's for nature or portraits. Meet Cassandra, who studies theater arts, and needed some new photos for casting opportunities.

This 5K Marathon was routed near our neighborhood last January 11, and Egan went out there quite early to catch a few photos. The run started in Golden Gate Park, and went along the Great Highway, to end back in Golden Gate Park.

The first weekend of 2015 started off with a music video shoot in Oakland. Children's music songwriter, Michael Ryther, led a group of children to co-star in his music video directed by Esperanza Catubig.

Here are some behind-the-scene photos by Egan. The music video will be completed for release in April, just in time for Earth Day!
