Seasons MarketPlace

I work for The Filipino Channel (my day job) and today we had celebrated the grand opening of our TFC Lounge at Seasons MarketPlace in Milpitas, CA. I had taken photos (not for PanFocus) of the event and the meet-n-greet with the hosts of two of our locally-produced shows. It was a fun time, and if you're in the area, go check out our lounge. You can even enjoy some of our programming while you're hanging out (there's a TV) or take pictures with the props. Though this was a non-PanFocus event, I thought I'd share it.

Could this be an "evil" want?

I have not had much opportunity to be out at night and improve my light trail photography skills. However, there is one picture I would (like?) to be able to capture. Yet, even just sharing what it is, makes me nervous for one might think I want it to happen so bad just to fulfill what I want out of it. Trust me that I don't want it to happen to anyone. But I have never seen a picture of it being done yet...

If you have, I really feel the need to see it.

Does anyone out there have a light trail photo involving a car accident? As I've said I don't feel proud about wanting to capture this, but it's something that, as a photographer, I would like to see. I don't mean to make art out of someone's misfortune, but this is strictly a photography inquiry.

PanFocus Projects!

Aside from taking photos for our lovely customers, we're also coming up with projects to give ourselves.

Right now we have a couple planned out. Either we'll put them out on a book or have it featured in this blog. What do you think? We do love the traditional use of print media.

The first project is themed Girls Without Makeup. The second project will be a series of Photos You Must Take.

More details later! These will both be ongoing and simultaneous. It will keep us (or just me, Rio) very busy.

But I'm looking forward to it!
