FB page temporarily closed

Our Facebook page was temporarily zoned off for admin-only viewing while we fix up the albums and re-position who and what are all about. We've spent so much time doing that on our website here, but now it's time to pay a little attention to Facebook.

I've added a new section to this blogfolio: links to related articles on photography and design. See the sidebar for these links (more coming!)

In other wonderful news, we are now on Google+. This is such a great way to meet photographers around the world! For the time being, we are only using it strictly to network with other photographers, designers, and like-minded visual folks but any one is welcome to add us to their circle(s). Facebook is still our turn-to social networking site for reaching out to the masses. But when the road turns a different direction and Google+ becomes the new Facebook, anything can happen. We are just evolving along.

I didn't have much of a chance to explore. I was mostly in the children's alley and took photos of the activities, as shown in this slideshow.

Pistahan 2010

Pistahan continues on in 2010, with performers and sisters, Alex and Toni Gonzaga, who both graced the stage during TFC Hour.

Pistahan 2009

Pistahan is an annual festival that takes place at Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco. 2009's The Filipino Channel performers included Giselle Sanchez, Jayson Gainza and The Asian Dolls.

Give our FB page a Like

At random times, we will look for a band or family or individual to do a free shoot with, but this only applies to those we are connected to on Facebook. "Like" our page now to get future notices.

Any bands that like us are absolutely welcome to post their shows on our page. If we are available and looking for something to do on the night of your show, we may just come out and take some pictures for you. There are no complicated terms to the pictures except they will always belong to us, and we will at most tag you on our FB page and your band will have a gallery on our website. Also, you need not keep bugging us about your show-- please just post each show once. The offer will only be good for live performances (no portfolio shots), and if you can get us in for free, we will throw in a bonus something.

We have shifted the business side of things to fit photography in our busy lives, and we are now focusing on clients with limited budgets only. However, the only catch is, you have to book us early to ensure our availability.

NOTE: This is NOT a contest. You do not have to like our page, you do not need to be on FB. We are using FB as a tool, as a way to communicate, and if you want to share your show or event with us, that's fine. It doesn't guarantee anything, and it doesn't mean you're entered into anything. We abide by these guidelines.

Children in Portraits

Our future relies on the children of today; let us give them a positive childhood with the hope that they continue that to positive adulthood. Here is a mix of children's photos I've shot in my photography journey.
