PanFocus Studios: Moving On

This is an informal announcement that we will silence ourselves from the maternity/family portrait business and put all our focus and energy on events and weddings. This is not to say that we will say "no" to anyone who might ask for their portraits to be taken -- if we are available, we may just accept. However, our specialty in events is what we would like to push and be better available for.

We have a ton of fun photographing families, including our own. At this time, photographing our own children is enough fulfillment :)

Thank you to the families and mamas who have entrusted us to take your portraits. Much was learned, the time was fun, and it is my personal hope to cross paths with you again. Remember us for your child's birthdays or your next big event in life! We would love take part in photographic memories for you through our memory cards and hard drives :)

Tom and Elyn Wedding Dinner | Event Photographer | Daly City, CA

Event: Wedding dinner
Location: Koi Palace (Daly City, CA)

I was hired to photograph a dinner party -- a very intimate and simple dinner party marking the wedding of Elyn and Tom. The dinner took place at the banquet room within Koi Palace in Daly City. When I first walked in, it was hard to miss the souvenir gifts and cake laid out near the entrance to the private dining lounge. I was not at the wedding itself, but this photographic job was for me to capture the fun and laughter of their families over an epic dinner!

These mugs were the souvenirs:

Bite-sized desserts were readily available as guests came in.

And as the guests came in, they were also greeted by their table namecards, desserts, and this fab cake....

They signed the guestbook.

They mingled.

And the cake!

Time spent with family is always quality.

Of course, this is the gorgeous couple:

Each table received a big plate of roasted pig (lechon), fancied up with lit eyes.

As they all enjoyed their food, I went around to take more detail shots.

The newlyweds also enjoyed their food.

Time to cut up Batman and Catwoman's ride!

It looked like this inside:

At the end, the guests received their gifts!
